Anyway....
Well, the sun is not shining today, but at least it's not raining! smile emoticon Things have been EXTREMELY busy here at FNF headquarters!  Sometimes I wish I had some helpers...but seems it will just never happen, so, I keep plugging away.  
Just a reminder...I will be traveling to Kentucky this Tuesday and setting up at the FABULOUS Road to the Horse at the Alltech Arena in Lexington, Kentucky with my great friends at Camp with Horses in booth #276/277 in the vendor room along with Tangled Tails by PonyGurl...so be sure if you are in the area to stop in and see me!  
In the meantime, I have a fabulous piece that I am extremely proud of to offer everyone this weekend!  

 "Happily Ever After" will be going up on Friday, March 20 at 8PM Eastern time and will be a 24 hour auction, so it will end on Saturday, March 21 at 8PM Eastern time over on my Flakey 'n Friends Facebook page.  This piece is the most detailed piece I have ever made. It was inspired by the Cinderella movie (if you haven't seen it...you MUST! ) This contains nearly 70 genuine Swarovski AB Crystals covering not only the carriage, but also the harnesses of the two white horses. The horses and the carriage are complete with just a touch of shimmer added into the clay and even their hand painted eyes are shimmery. If you have a princess in your life, here is the perfect piece for her. How about an upcoming wedding? Wouldn't this be perfect? The horses can be placed in any position you would like as I chose to keep them separate for versatility.

Good afternoon Flakey 'n Friends fans and Happy Mardi Gras!!!!  

Can anyone tell me...is it spring yet?  We sure are ready for it here how bout you?  Oh to see the green grass and smell all the blooming flowers and to feel the warm breeze on your face...ahhhh....Just a little over a month till the first day of spring...I just hope Mother Nature has got the memo.  ;)

Happy Friday FNF Fans!!!!  Hope you all had a fabulous week and are preparing for a relaxing weekend filled with family, friends, love and laughter!

I will kick it off at 8:00 Eastern time Tonight...Friday, Feb. 6 with the little cutie below.  She's been caught red handed in the carrot patch!  But she's too cute to scold.  This auction will run 26 hours, yes...I said 26...I won't be at a computer at the 24 hour mark...so I extended it as well as the one below.  So, this auction will end at 10:00PM Eastern time, Saturday, Feb. 7.  

Then at 8:15 PM Eastern time are you ready for a party?  A Mardi Gras party???  This fine equine is!  All decked out in an all hand sculpted costume...she is ready to go!  She's slightly oversized.  And she's hoping to find a warm climate to live in.  She is NOT happy with Pennsylvania weather.  ;) 

She will be up at 8:15PM  Eastern time (I know..already said that) tonight, Friday, Feb. 6.  This auction will run 26 hours, yes...I said 26...I won't be at a computer at the 24 hour mark...so I extended it as well as the one above.  So, this auction will end at 10:15PM Eastern time, Saturday, Feb. 7.

Happy Tuesday fellow bloggers and Hello February!!!!
So, here in the Eastern part of the US...we have survived the big snowstorm and things are getting back to normal once again.  All of last week's packages from the fantastic adoption are now in route to their new homes, so for those who were lucky enough to get one of those cuties...you can start stalking the mailman in the next couple days.  ;)

This week around Flakey 'n Friends...I have no set sale planned...HOWEVER with that said...I will have some ponies available...They will pop up randomly over on my facebook page, and they will go to the first to comment with your email address and state in which you reside.  Here is a small sneak peek to just a few that will be available.  They have more friends in the works...so keep your eyes on my page.

AND...something fun I've been thinking about....for everyone who is venturing out to my upcoming shows...I am going to have some sort of "Art Drop" meaning...I will be placing an item wrapped with a note on it randomly at the shows.  If you find it, you get to keep it!  :)  I haven't worked out the details yet, but I do plan to post pics of where they are located on my facebook page once they are set.  I hope you all participate and have fun doing it.  Sort of a THANK YOU for all my wonderful fans.

Hello To all my faithful followers!!!!  I hope this post finds you all well and WARM!  I found this interesting quote...I just have to share...

I am constantly looking to improve my sculptures, and while looking back over time, it is amazing how they have changed over the years.  With trials and errors and "OH YEA's!!!!" and Ah HA's and throw that in the trash's...I am where I am today.  I truly LOVE to sculpt and my love for horses makes it even better.  And ever since I was a little girl, trying to raise money to buy a show halter for my pony, I have always been seeking ways to earn a living with my hands.  Back then, I had no idea I would be doing what I love rather than heading out to a 9-5 job.  I've done the 9-5 and was never more restless in my life.  My mind would wander to all the creations I wanted to make, yet I sat at a desk and pushed a pencil and pounded the keyboard.  I feel so blessed that you are all in my lives to help make my dream possible.  Thank you!

With that said, I wanted to put this out that I am planning an adoption event this week!  YAY!  I know..it's been awhile.  :)  So, Thursday, January 29 at 8PM Eastern time, be sure to head over to my Facebook page, Flakey 'n Friends (link below) and join in the fun!  I have a small preview of some of the items that will be available.  There will be more, but they haven't been born yet.

I will also be holding an auction...POSSIBLY 2...not sure yet...but they will be a little longer auctions than normal.  I've had several requests to hold them longer, so you ask, I deliver.  These will be 24 hour auctions...they will come up at 9:00PM  and 9:15PM Eastern time on Thursday January 29 and will end at 9:00PM and 9:15PM Eastern time on Friday January 30.  So, be sure to tune in to see what I have available.  :)

So, for now...here is a small preview...and I SERIOUSLY need to get me a light box so I can take photos INSIDE my warm house...I have FROZEN fingers.  LOL

 Below is a close of up the first auction that will be up.  "A friend in need is a friend indeed" This little pony is just trying to help out a friend in need.  In her warm dry galoshes, she is making a pebble walk way across the puddle for the little bunny that is trying to stay dry under the oversized daisy, while the tulips and daisy's all soak up the warm spring rain after a long cold winter.  Complete with authentic looking raindrops, this piece is well oversized and comes stamped with the Flakey 'n Friends original makers mark so you are sure to know you have a one of a kind piece made by yours truly. :)
